ULD30

Laser Gas Detector | Advanced Methane Detection Solution

ULD30 is a device for non-contact measurement of natural gas (CH4) concentration based on laser absorption spectroscopy.

When the instrument is working, it emits a specific wavelength range (the center wavelength is not the same for different gases under test)of the detection laser, which is diffusely reflected when it ments reflector (e.g. the ground, valves, pipelines, walls, etc.), and part of the laser is returned to the detection unit of the instrument. In the beam path, if there is a gas leakage of the measured gas to form a gas cloud, the gas cloud will be absorbed by the detection laser, the amount unabsorbed light and the ratio of the amount of absorbed light and the concentration of the gas cloud into a function of proportionality, through the calculation of the ratio of the inverse of the concentration of the gas cloud.
