ULD150

Laser Gas Detector | High-Precision Methane Leak Detection

ULD150 Laser Methane Remote Meter is a device that realizes non-contact measurement of natural gas concentration based on laser absorption spectroscopy technology. It has data storage and Bluetooth wireless transmission functions.

When the instrument is working, it emits a detection laser with a specific wavelength range (different central wavelengths for different gases being measured). The detection laser encounters a reflective object (such as the ground, valves, pipes, walls, etc.) and diffusely reflects, and part of the laser returns to the detection unit of the instrument. In the beam path, if there is an air mass formed by the leakage of the measured gas, the air mass will absorb the detection laser. The ratio of the amount of unabsorbed light to the amount of absorbed light is proportional to the concentration of the air mass. The concentration of the air mass can be inferred by calculating this ratio. It is often used in natural gas stations, urban gas inspections and other occasions.
